Due to continued snowfall, total accumulation, & clean-up efforts, the Little Silver School District will be closed tomorrow, Tues. Feb. 24. The district will operate on a delayed opening on Wed., Feb. 25. We will notify you promptly if any additional schedule changes are needed.

The Little Silver School District will be closed tomorrow, Monday, Feb. 23, & will have a delayed opening on Tuesday, Feb. 24. If needed, we will provide an update regarding Tuesday’s status late Monday afternoon. Keep all district lots & drives clear to allow for snow removal.

Winter i-Ready reading and mathematics reports are now available in the Genesis Parent Portal for students in grades 1-8. Winter DIBELS early literacy reports are also available in the Parent Portal for students in grades K-3.

Due to icy conditions in the AM the LS School District will open on a two-hour delay tomorrow, Tuesday, January 27th. PRS will open at 10 AM, & MPS will open at 10:10 AM. Dismissal will be at normal times. Please allow extra time for a safe commute to school.

Due to the impact of the current winter storm, the LS School District will be closed tomorrow, Monday, January 26. Please do not park in district lots as it impedes snow removal efforts. A decision about Tuesday’s start times will be made in the early evening on Monday.

From LSPD: Branch Avenue is currently closed in both directions between Rumson Road and Pinckney. May be open in time for school arrival but plan accordingly. This may affect families living off Pinckney Road which includes the PRS bus

Getting reports that the Train is stuck at one of the crossings coming into Little Silver. Traffic is having difficulty crossing at White Road & Sycamore Avenue. This has impacted our bus route to PRS. The bus is coming. Please consider alternate routes to our schools.
