Not only have we outperformed the EU’s biggest economy - Germany 👇- but UK exports to the EU are up by nearly 70% - not far off double what the EU has achieved with non-EU countries. Whilst we have sustained a stable share of world trade since pre-Brexit, the EU’s share of global trade has fallen by 15%. The failures of our own economy are home grown. High taxes, high energy costs and overbearing regulation have stifled growth - but in the last decade we have still grown more than any of the 3 biggest EU economies (Germany, France and Italy).
