I remember when the FBI did the same thing to people posting on 8chan /pol/ shortly following after the Christchurch shooting. In the screenshots they submitted as evidence in their affidavit, they happened to include replies with (you)'s, showing that there were posts by the FBI agents taking the screenshots. Anons went back into the thread and found more posts by the same ID.
