COACHES: Teaching someone how to hit well in a cage is completely different than teaching someone how to HIT well in a game. There are too many hitters being taught to hit bombs in a cage but can't sniff a good fastball in a game. #GoodBatting

You think your rear leg, uphill swing plays against this? The guys that preach you that, never stood in and seen this. Promise you that!

HITTERS: You can't elevate a ball unless you're on time. How do you get the ball off the ground? Be on time. How do you backspin a ball on a line in the air? Be on time. When you're on time to hit a ball to CF, you're swing naturally plays best. #GoodBatting

Year after year, I see the best swings come from the same college programs. Instead of obsessing over 2-strike, no-stride, choppy swings… Build a swing that doesn’t miss strikes one and two in the first place. Reverse engineer your two-strike approach.

HITTERS: Everyday #MLB hitters go on 2 (maybe 3) hot streaks a year. That’s it!! What they do in between those hot streaks allows them to compete and stay in the league as productive offensive players that help their team win. There is a difference between being in a slump and not getting hits. Know the difference. #GoodBatting
