Act 3 struggles in your screenwriting? Give your protagonist a final plan: Attack Defend or Escape The plan falls apart! They improvise. They make a choice they never would’ve made in Act 1 and triumph. Do that and STILL surprise us and make it emotional? You've got an Act 3.
