Cleveland Charge General Manager Liron Fanan has been named the 2025-26 NBA G League Basketball Executive of the Year, as selected by NBA G League team basketball executives. Fanan is the first woman and the second Charge executive to win the award, joining Mike Gansey of the Canton Charge in 2016-17. Under Fanan, Cleveland finished with a 23-13 record to earn the No. 3 seed in the Eastern Conference for the NBA G League Playoffs presented by Google, where the Charge will host the Capital City Go-Go on April 1 at 7:30 p.m. ET on Samsung TV Plus. During the 2025-26 season, six Charge players earned NBA Call-Ups: Darius Brown, Tristan Enaruna, Killian Hayes, Chaney Johnson, Riley Minix and Norchad Omier. Mexico City General Manager Orlando Mendez and Greensboro Swarm General Manager Cole Teal finished second and third in voting, respectively.

@BestUnkleDan @TongNeverSleeps Honestly I get the sentiment behind it though. Like why would a high level player go to their weekly offline local when TNS is on the same day? Just because TNS does provide a lot to the FGC, doesn’t mean that it hasn’t been a factor in reducing attendance for some offlines.
