Ultra short explanation: there are multiple value thresholds that impact the outcome (=timer) of the circle. Two most interesting internal thresholds are 350K (14h timer, rare item) and 400K (75% for 14h, and 25% for 6h quest item timer). Here's an example how to get there.

@baudthrasher @tarkovtips There is always a 25% chance to get a 6-hour timer and 75% chance to get 14-hour even if you have the perfect amounts.

@tarkovtips Any idea why I get a 6h timer, but then don't receive anything I need? On PvP I've received items I don't need for quests or hideout (ammo, colored keycard, etc) and on PvE, the only thing I should get is RRs as I don't have any other quests that need items and hideout is done
