self paced college courses are the best, wdym im already halfway done with my 8week course and we're not even a week into class havent even had a single due date for my other classes pass yet

A lot of mm/dd/yy arguments here and I just wanna say that I file paperwork based on month, not day. So the month is the most important date for me and I all my work is based on monthly statements. The day is almost irrelevant. I could write an essay on why I prefer month first

@LizzieLied The only time we ever say the day before the month is for the 4th of July, and that's only in context to the holiday. Any other time we would refer to doing something that day that isn't related to the holiday we would say July 4th

do americans really like never say "the fifth of january" or stuff like that?? because i know a lot defend the mm/dd/yy dating system by saying like "oh you say january fifth that's why" but i hear both equally here

@pontalonez Yeah it's annoying. But I like having a space to share political ideas without government overstep and tiktok was the best house for that. Without tiktok i am forced to rely on very biased news sorces

@LemonLe4f I mean Ill still have access to Tiktok, but for me even that has gotten worse. A lot of people are using it and uploading to it as a political platform rather than entertainment. That's what sucks to me, if I want politics I'll check the news.

@LemonLe4f Yeah no, I feel you there. I use it as a distraction from the world, but instead of funny little videos, all it is now is just drama, politics and bad news. There's nowhere to go to get a break from it all anymore...

My mom doesn't do any skin care, hasn't gotten any skin care ads, hasn't looked at skin care online ever and she got a targeted ad after we just saw it in ulta.

The only targeted ads I get on tiktok is flowerknows and coach because I have visted the sites and allowed cookies. Meta is SCARY with their targeted ads.
