@Len845 @JesterJum I mean personally I like having a brand new car where I know exactly what it's been through. If driving a really nice new car is less than 5% of your annual pay it's bordering on a trivial expense for the benefits you get.

@HankVenture5 @JesterJum For arguments sake a 3 year old vehicle does too. 30,000 miles on a vehicle now is nothing. A lot though depends how much you drive. With a 2 mile commute to work, I only drive 5/6k miles a year.

@JesterJum There's a certain point where you have enough income that a car payment is not that big of a deal. You have the advantage of driving a car that's under warranty, has the latest safety & tech, etc.

@AllegedlyDrew @JesterJum I just bought a 2021 Dodge Ram 1500 with 23k miles and not a scratch on it for 26 k. My last truck I bought was an 05 F150 in 07 for for 14K. It lasted me 19 years.
