Relationships in Nigeria are insane. Outside Nigeria, you'll see two 18yr olds in a relationship, working and pulling their resources together to do things for themselves. No pressure whatsoever, just two people loving each other and building themselves. In Nigeria, two 18yr olds can be dating and one is expecting the other one to take care of her like her father would. Where does she expect him to get the resources to do that? Some of you are not seeing how damaged the dating pool is. If you approach a lady for a relationship, the first thing she'll use to judge you is if you have money to give her. Not if you love her, not if you have genuine intentions or good plans for her future just money. May God heal us in this country.
