@LetsImproveIt
This is my account for pointing out what can be improved. Sure it's a bit complainy, but it's intended to help make things better.

@DaraghCassidy I'm sure the fantastic @Pidge has spent time thinking about this. Ever tabled a motion to change this ridiculous policy?

@anon_opin But is it not possible that he was both a leader of progressive centre left reform and murderous neo imperial foreign policy propped up by lies and religion craziness?
He's a war criminal and belongs in jail. But I still often find his analysis shrewd and insightful.

@IrishTimes A friend worked here. They reported a really dysfunctional work culture at this business.

Dilek Dogan Gurluk, country head of Novo Nordisk in Ireland, has been chosen as The Irish Times Business Person of the Month for March, an award run in association with Bank of Ireland. #ITBusinessAwards

@anon_opin People will persist with what works best for them, not their organisation.

@Clearpreso Hopefully the jacks will be upgraded from pre-Lemass levels of antiquity.

Galways has always deserved a proper, non-falling-apart, train station. Very glad to see this making great progress 💪

@IrishTimesOpEd @IrishTimes I have yet to hear convincing arguments against such technology. I always think of crimes that have been solved with the help of conventional CCTV. I also think of the raft of crime and ASB that plausibly could be more effectively challenged with this technology.

@anon_opin I think everyone wishes nobody was homeless. Until we achieve that, I'd like to be able to sit down at a bus stop or enjoy a seat in a park. I can't do either if there's an unfortunate lying there.
English

@Bill72156026 @IrishTimes You're absolutely right that it should not be tolerated. FG seem to have some cosy relationships with big money in Ireland. Gardai not squeaky clean either. But we have to keep some perspective. Ireland is not as corrupt as it was and it compares favourably with other countries.

@LetsImproveIt @IrishTimes Corruption is corruption or should we turn a blind eye to it

David McWilliams: Is Ireland the worst run country in Europe? How can we waste so much public money so quickly in so many ways? Has there ever been a country that has achieved so little from so much spending?

@LetsImproveIt @IrishTimes Leo the leak to his buddy, O’Donohoe buying his world bank position. Martin selecting his presidential candidate which had a seedy past. Now Oscar, go away 🤣
English

@Bill72156026 @IrishTimes What comparable strokes have been pulled over the last 20 years? Bet you can't name even three.
Ireland's far from perfect, but it's definitely not one of the most corrupt countries in the world.
English

@Bill72156026 @IrishTimes He's a definite example. Agreed, but that particular case is decades old now.
English

@Bill72156026 @IrishTimes Published corruption measures say we are not.
What are your examples?

@Clearpreso I wonder was it used for recreation when it was largely a working port?
Not that I'm going back that far, but I can remember walking on it as a small kid about 40 years ago with my dad before taking the ferry to Wales.

@Cannon513 The people of Letterkenny are sound and respect other religions. You won't get far with this.
English

Letterkenny literally means hillside of the O'Cannons. No mosques built on the hillside of the sacred land where my ancestors ruled in ancient Ireland. Fuck that 🤬 Please sign this petition. The whole island is sacred land it has to stay that way.

@anon_opin Presumably self driving cars will almost always spot humans crossing the road and will always yield, so we'll be able to cross wherever and whenever we like in the future.

@DLRPPN @DunLaoghaireTT @dlrcc @SSP_DLR @DLRCO_Chamber Leaves a bitter taste given that DLRCC is so completely unreceptive to the views of residents. I've been stunned by how dismissive the council is to attempts to improve local facilities. This feels like window dressing.
