#Syria: authorities clarified that the target of the Hezbollah-affiliated cell in #Damascus wasn't a Christian figure, but Rabbi Michael Hourri.
Rabbi Hourri plays a leading role in reviving the Jewish community following Assad's fall.
In January, he reopened a Synagogue in the Capital.

Once again, an Iranian plot to destabilize #Syria via its proxies was thwarted. Target was a Christian Maronite figure in #Damascus. The IED planted by a female member of the cell near his home in Bab Touma was successfully neutralized. Members of the cell had received military training from Hezbollah in Lebanon.
