This has to be a bug with Instagram, it shows the verge running ads for other companies I can’t imagine they’d do that, so that’s a pretty gnarly Instagram bug

I built an iOS shortcut inspired by @waitbutwhy’s life calendar: your entire life as a finite grid of weeks on your lock screen.
Since apps can’t update the lock screen, a shortcut runs weekly, fetches the next image from an endpoint, and updates the lock screen automatically.

@markgurman I was talking to a few execs at a company last week who were happy Apple would use Gemini to power Siri because it would make their AI look bad, had to break it to them

Speaking of Apple and AI. The new Siri is planned for March give-or-take, as has been the case for months. Apple has been saying for 9 months it’s coming in 2026. Apple simply reiterated that on the earnings call. Nothing new but for some reason sparked headlines.
