Was only at MFF for a night but it was the most fun I have had at a con. I prefer US cons to European cons I think….even though the scale of this one is insane 😅. Will try and do FWA next and for more than a night 😅….thats to those I chatted to! Was fun! :3

@fekfekfekfek True but that’s if the pivot point is always the top left. Depending on the engine the pivot point can be anywhere so maybe they probably standardized it to be closer to 3D space. Also 2D UI can be rendered to target in 3D space so maybe it makes it easier. No idea though 😅

@LexxShepDog It's a reasonable point, and the reasoning is exactly why I agree that +Y should be up in 3D space! But 2D space, especially for UI work, has been top-left origin since the 60's because it's modeled after the way western viewers read information, from top left to bottom right
