Life In The Vine

What does it mean?: God is our salvation who has saved us from death through Jesus and His work on the cross. We put all trust in Him so that we aren’t afraid of the afflictions in this life. He gives us strength and we praise Him in song. ❤️

Daily Scripture (4/9/26): Isaiah 12:2 CSB Indeed, God is my salvation; I will trust him and not be afraid, for the LORD, the LORD himself, is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation." (1/2)

What does it mean?: What is being condemned here is harmful desires, not the possession of things. The craving and love of money has led people to both destruction and denial of faith. (2/2)

Daily Scripture (4/8/26): 1 Timothy 6:9 CSB But those who want to be rich fall into temptation, a trap, and many foolish and harmful desires, which plunge people into ruin and destruction. (1/2)

The whole process of salvation (grace and faith) is NOT a human achievement, but an act of God’s goodness. It is not from ourselves so that no one can ever boast or self-congratulate. God alone saves.(2/2)
