The AEW women’s division in 2026 has been so weird to me.
While I get they’re flunkies/tags people who really don’t match the in ring standard have gotten so much tv time and are barely improving or delivering quality work

Mostly women used in a handful of squash matches. People like Athena, Britt Baker, Hikaru Shida, Anna Jay, Tay Melo, Deonna Purrazzo could all fill the void. So the roster is there. There’s no excuse not to use it.
