@GregAbbott_TX Hello, Gov. Abbott. I was recently elected to the SBISD board of trustees with record turnout. 59% of our district is economically disadvantaged yet we pay millions in recapture. We are about to fall off a financial cliff if the state doesn’t raise the basic allotment.

The time is NOW for school choice in Texas. School choice legislation has passed the Texas Senate and is moving through the House this week. Parents MUST have the freedom to choose the best education path for their child.
