Israel’s 🇮🇱 army lifted and detained at least 15 people in the West Bank 🇵🇸 last night. Including children and former detainees who had been released. Israel 🇮🇱 has now taken and detained 7,240 West Bank 🇵🇸 Palestinians in under 5 months. It’s not defence. It is oppression.

Today our kids saw Julian in Belmarsh high security prison. We took this picture outside. On Tuesday the final US extradition hearing begins. We don’t know what happens next. #FreeAssangeNOW

It is indeed good news. But we must and will keep the pressure up.

Maybe they are sick? Maybe they have a parent dying? Maybe they lost their job? Maybe they are going through a really tough time. The point is, it doesn't matter. A child should not go hungry in the richest country the world has ever known.

It's not much to ask for. I want solid healthcare, some nice roads and infrastructure, world class education, good social services, and a safety net for those less fortunate. You know, all the stuff that we pay taxes for. Not subsidies and tax breaks for the rich.

@BeckettUnite If a cancer patient, for example, needs to make daily trips to hospital for treatment, they can claim the ULEZ charge back. From the hospital, which is already struggling for funds.

You pay double for your gas bills, the corporations make double the profit. They give nurses a £1400 pay rise, then they charge nurses £1300 to park at hospitals. That’s how it works in this rigged society. They are profiteering from us.
