Just 4 days away now from JEC Composites 2026 at Paris Nord Villepinte Exhibition Centre! We're excited about returning to the biggest composites event in the world, after winning the JEC Innovation Award for our FibreLINE system last year. Visit us on our Booth Q112 in Hall 5 and witness for real both our FibreFORM and Bravura systems in action. FibreFORM is a unique pick and place end effector that delivers pioneering material deposition rates for the ultra high rate manufacture of carbon fibre aircraft wings, wing tips, nacelles and drones. The system on display will be integrated with a FANUC M-950 robot. Bravura takes robotics into constricted spaces, automating sub-assembly tasks such as sealing, swaging and inspection. It is one month from JEC, the biggest composites event in the world, taking place in Paris Nord Villepinte, from March 10th - March 12th. 🐏Solidwool is a composite material made with British wool and bio-resin. It is used to make beautiful furniture. 🎯 Our highly accurate robotic machining system, RoboMACH HA, trimmed the excess bio-resin from the edges of a Solidwool chair. The robotic pathways were generated with Robotmaster software. ✅ The RoboMACH HA system produced a high-quality and smooth finish, demonstrating a tangible alternative to doing this task manually using a rotary multi tool, as it saves time and increases accuracy. Furthermore, this robotic machining system is a cost effective alternative to a traditional large capacity CNC machine and offers greater flexibility in the machining envelope. RoboMACH is robotic machining with extreme accuracy. This system is an affordable alternative to a large capacity CNC machine tool. It can machine sizeable and complex components with extreme precision. It can be used to shape and refine cured carbon fibre aerospace and automotive panels, wood structures such as beams or frames, plastic components, engineering foam, trimming sand-casting moulds, metal applications and more. Leveraging our ikCAM technology, we can offer extremely high levels of machining accuracy through ‘as built’ kinematic correction. This achieves up to a 10 times increase in precision when compared to using a standard robot. It is controller agnostic and can be retrofitted to existing machining cells. Our advanced composite manufacturing technology is being installed here for the Boeing-led Isothermic High-Rate Sustainable Structures (IHSS) project – the inaugural initiative at the new Composites at Speed and Scale facility. 🛩️ This configuration of FibreLINE features three FANUC M-2000iA/1700L robots, one FANUC M-2000iA/1200L and an M-2000iA/900L model. This technology is used to clean mold tools made from materials such as steel, aluminium and Invar. 👩‍🏭 The largest all girls robotics club in the UK meets the strongest robot in the world! 🦾 💫 We absolutely loved having a few members from the @BSGupdate School for Girls Robotics club visit Loop Technology. 👩‍🏭 A selection of fifteen students and two teachers, from their much larger robotics club, had an in-depth tour of our Dorchester HQ and got to see a wide range of our systems. This included our robotic machining system in RoboMACH, our laser cleaning cell where we develop our pioneering no code industrial decontamination technology that uses RealPATH, and our AdAPT research and development facility for continually evolving FibreLINE for ultra-high-rate composite manufacturing. The tour of the workshop ended with the students getting to see the strongest industrial robot in the world, in the FANUC M-2000iA/2300! 🎤 They also got to see presentations from a variety of women in the Loop Technology team across multiple departments in software, mechanical and projects. The students were shown how the different teams collaborate to complete projects and evolve our products. They also got some fantastic insight into what a career in robotics involves and the different routes that can be taken to get into it. 💻 Loop Technology were then given a presentation from BSG Robotics club on some of their work, including a 3D CAD model of their Gemini robot which involved talking through their design and build process. We were then shown how it will be used in this season’s challenge to create robots capable of collecting, sorting and launching game elements with precision using multi-stage control systems. 🥰 What a heartwarming and inspiring day. 🤖IdentifEYE™ is an intelligent vision and robotic system. It accurately scans and applies labels to randomly shaped and positioned packages at a rate of up to 2,400 labels per hour. ✅It is a flexible product that can be adapted to stick labels on virtually anything with a 3D profile. It uses 3D vision to scan a package and its identifying features such as a barcode or label. 🏷️In the case of an overlabelling configuration of IdentifEYE, the system uses the scan data to request a replacement final mile label from an external or internal source. It then prints and applies the label to the package using a robot and dynamic label applicator for high accuracy positioning.
