@KeatonS400 @erny110393 Do you even know what happens if you reverse the rotation on a CF pump? Yes a control system can be hacked. Stuxnet proved that (ironic that Iran was the one hacked). But control systems have been much hardened since then. Also refineries are less susceptible than a centrifuges

@LotsaGray @erny110393 Yes CF pumps only work 1 way, reversing valves or letting other sales be open when they are not allowed so systems fighting. You can go into a PLC and change scaling, ignore alarms or disable things. It is hacking to cause damage so being malicious is the goal

@RealSeanIrish01 @erny110393 The refinery is not destroyed. It was an HDS unit. I have seen an entire heater blown up, torn down, rebuilt in months. And guess what…the rest of the refinery continued operating.
