On this issue of Nigerians being open minded, I had issues with my breastmilk when the twins were in NICU, my milk wasn’t coming out very well yet and their pediatrician wasn’t allowing formula, see me with oyinbo mindset suggesting donor milk because I heard there’s a breastmilk bank in Lagos. The nurses were shocked, like their eyes were open wide literally expressing shock, they were like ah! When is not like I’m dead, even if I’m dead they still won’t advise donor milk, that what if the donor has a disease, I said donors are screened na, they said even though… 😂😂😂😂 There and then, I knew we still have a long way to go in this country.
