You can build an app in an afternoon. Until now, adding video still meant APIs, auth, and production work. HeyGen is now integrated with @Lovable via MCP + OAuth. Prompt avatar video directly into your app and ship with a face and voice. What would you build first?

I am literally in tears. Not because of surgery I had and the pain while recovering (although I could cry for that too tho). These are tears of joy! Even after shipping 700+ apps. And 35,000+ Lovable edits. I still pinch myself when I see what's possible. This is how easy it is to make money online: 1. Yesterday I get added to our internal World Cup Slack channel at @Lovable. Of course, bold predictions and "trash talk" transpire, as they should, we declare our teams, but something is missing... well we work at Lovable, so why not build an app! 2. First idea was to build something simple - we just bet on games, group winners and final winner + individual awards. No real money, points and bragging rights. 3. Then I remember, why not build a Fantasy Football World Cup edition too! And private leagues! And private betting rooms. Again, no money coming through the platform, just points, clean simple. And why only for Lovable? Why not for anyone!? 4. I go to Claude. Braindump for 5 min straight. Ask it to spec, split, wire this up using Lovable MCP, create my PRDs and start shipping. Set to autopilot. 17 prompts. The core of the app is done under 45 min. All prompts sent from my phone while in bed. 5. Another 30-40 prompts on polishing gameplay, design, adding sound etc, here I did get up to eat so I tested on my laptop too just in case. Mostly used skills + subagents to do deeper research, video and even app theme audio generation! 6. While I was at it, coincidentally on X, I ran into Ship or Die by Jack Fricks and Marc Lou. I love it, I sign up immediately to submit my app. 7. I bought a domain - worldcupfantasy.app through Lovable and connected in 20s. Polish up a bit of SEO, nothing crazy. Of course, run a full free security audit too, comes back clean. 7.1. I added payments, super modest. If you want to organize a private league of any kind and invite your friends, it's $5 or $8 for a bundle, then you guys do whatever you want, I am stoked as long as you sign up. Emails too. 8. Back to Claude, now is the time for publishing strategy. List of Subreddits, X and LinkedIn posts. Transparency is key, so I also record this Loom video, looking like a mess, as I am recovering, lying in my bed. But I shipped anyway guys, so can you!!! If you never built anything, and don't know where to start, check out my free Lovable tutorials on february.lovable.app 9. Draft posts, ship, publish. Chat GPT for logo, Suno for music! Seedance for video. 10. 3h later, first $8 payment landed on my account. All. done. under. half. a. day. While in pain. A lot of pain. While in bed. While eating, watching YT and Netflix in breaks as the agent works. While catching up on company Slack and even shipping some pretty complex features. Please, I am begging you to just do things 🙏 I pledge to become the first paid customer for all of you that ship a mini app using Lovable under $10 a pop and post a comment below by the end of this week!

@TheDevDesign Subagents are part of how Lovable works now. Builds may actually end up a little cheaper: lighter work is routed to faster, cheaper models vs. defaulting to the more powerful, more expensive ones. More info in the blog post that @NebeyouMusie commented! (Thanks, Nebeyou).

You'll see subagents in the activity log alongside your main build, so you can see what's running and trace any decision back to its source.

A few days ago I saw a post from Lovable about turning sketches into real apps/websites, so I decided to test it over the weekend. I took a random hand-drawn sketch I found online and dropped it into Lovable just to test how far it could go… and honestly, I was impressed. It understood the layout, sections, and overall structure surprisingly well and turned the idea into a working website really fast. It’s wild how quickly you can now go from: Sketch → Functional Website AI-powered development keeps getting crazier.
