@TheCheeseKing__ Translation - I’ve talked loads of shit all week about the Bears being frauds and have been proven wrong and don’t have a response because they beat a team we couldn’t score double digit points on 😂

@_nathanf38 Reality was he was only in for this game until Smith comes back. To be honest I have much more of a problem with the braindead shot in the England 1st innings than these dropped catches.

@DeadlineDayLive The arrogance after just one win! Imagine what he’ll say if he actually wins the World Cup — the entire FIFA team that made the protocol will probably resign 😂

🚨 Thomas Tuchel has won his battle with FIFA. The World Cup pre-match protocol has been changed, with coaching staff now permitted to move closer to the touchline during the national anthems after Tuchel complained his view was blocked by photographers during England’s World Cup opener. (Source: @MikeKeegan_DM) 🗣️ Tuchel: "I’m begging FIFA to change the position of the photographers in the national anthem… I could not see my team. I was waiting for this moment, it was very special, and I was standing in front of a wall of 50 photographers… I could not see one single player and it ruined my experience a little bit."

Why are you pretending his receivers were constantly open? That’s odd. They weren’t constantly open, and many times he had to go through his reads to find the guy that actually was open. This isn’t debatable either, the numbers support this. This is why his receivers numbers were so evenly spread out. That is obviously going to lead to him taking more time as he goes through his reads. Also why are Packers fans trying to make out that explosive plays are a bad thing? They aren’t. You wouldn’t know because Jordan Love isn’t good enough to hit them. Jordan Love also doesn’t have the physical abilities Caleb has. When you have his rushing capability you would be a moron to not utilise it as part of your game. It makes you that much more difficult for an offense to defend. Do you criticise Lamar Jackson and Josh Allen and Patrick Mahomes for using their legs to pick up big gains? Yeah didn’t think somehow. Let’s not pretend you’re so unbiased observer here. You’re clearly a Packers fan whose feelings Caleb has recently hurt after Jordan Love choked a 21-3 lead.

@scottho31193792 @LovelandsBurner @JoeA_NFL His time in pocket was #2 in the league. Let's not pretend he had Love's awful OL and was constantly under pressure. He had an elite OL and was very clean. So why did it take him so long to throw and why did he need to scramble so much from clean pockets?

‘He's not getting through his reads, he's not accurate, his deep ball isn't much better. He is simply operating a much better, easier office. That don't impress me. That ain't him getting better’. All bullshit. Where do I even start. If there’s one thing Caleb’s been very consistent at ever since being in the league, it’s going through his reads. If he isn’t getting through his reads - why are all the receiving numbers for his receivers so spread out? Because he can consistently go through his full progressions and find the open guy. So your first point is a lie. Accuracy hasn’t been the best I agree. But so much of that completion percentage is due to being encouraged to throw the ball away. If he didn’t you would be amongst those complaining about him trying to play hero ball. So he’s damned if he does damned if he doesn’t. His deep ball showed significant improvement as the season went on. Please see Colston Lovelands TD vs the 49ers, DJ Moores vs the Packers and Luther Burdens vs the Cowboys and 49ers. And those are just off the top of my head. Lastly, anyone who’s ever watched a Ben Johnson offense would never call it easy. It looks easy because it’s works. But there are so many moving components to it and it’s far more complex for a QB to learn than many other offenses. There’s so much use of pre snap motion and shifts with backs and Tight Ends constantly moving around. So once again you are basically lying about things and trying to pass them off as fact.

I haven’t seen anything more he’s posted and I don’t plan to. I’ll have an intelligent conversation with anyone who knows what they are talking about. I’m far too busy to waste my time with idiots. Funniest thing is by his logic, Aaron Rodgers, literally one of the greatest Quarterbacks I’ve ever seen and someone his whole fan base idolises, can’t go through his reads. Geezer has the IQ of a 7 year old

NFL QBs usually don't develop much. They usually take 10-20 games to adjust to the NFL, but once they adjust, they typically remain what they are for years. After 5+ years of starting experience they usually improve mentally again, but their athleticism starts to wane. Some QBs are exceptions. Josh Allen famously improved from a raw, uncoached talent into a superstar. A lot of that was because he simply (1) never got any worthwhile coaching in community college or Wyoming and (2) never had ANYONE to throw to. Dak Prescott totally re-worked his mechanics AND made dramatic mental leaps after a very dumbed-down college offense. The list of QBs that significantly improved in the NFL doesn't continue much further. Caleb Williams improved his pocket presence a little in 2025, but most of that was simply having a great OL and an amazing offensive system that gave him ample, easy answers. This is who Caleb Williams is. He is a below-average but exciting QB. He can operate a system well enough to hang around in the league, but he is no star. He is very clearly the weakest link on a stacked and brilliant Bears offense, but he will always have a few sick highlights that throw his public perception waaaay out of whack. Ben Johnson will ensure that Chicago always has a top 10 offense, but we have probably already seen Caleb Williams' ceiling: a mostly bad QB that can salvage it all with a few huge plays, much like DeShaun Watson or Kyler Murray. Two guys whose media shine wore off pretty quickly.

Every offseason, fans and analysts try to project the next Josh Allen. This year, that quarterback is Caleb Williams. The problem? Josh Allen became the exception that reshaped expectations for every talented but unfinished quarterback who followed. 🧵

He is certainly above average. Many current players who know far more about the game than you have on multiple times said how talented he is. As do many high level coaches such as Sean McVey and Kyle Shanahan. Hate to break it to you pal, but you don’t know better than them, so forgive me if we ignore you. Oh everybody let Jordan Love down. None of it was his fault. His team mates did everything wrong. Hes completely blameless. Silly me. Fuck off mate, you’re embarrassing 👋

@LovelandsBurner @KaminEliahs @BigDFurny47 @JoeA_NFL He isn’t elite, he isn’t above average, so he’s clearly average or below average. Love outplayed Caleb, but was let down by the kicker and defense. It’s a team sport, but of course, you have no argument against my facts about the player, so you resort to lucky team outcomes.

I haven’t called Caleb elite, so you just keep on talking nonsense. He isn’t elite. He also isn’t average. And if he was average, it’s all the more embarrassing that he overcame a 21-3 deficit against future hall of famer Jordan Love to send you home 😭😭😭 And you haven’t stopped crying about it since. Bunch of bitches

@LovelandsBurner @KaminEliahs @BigDFurny47 @JoeA_NFL Again, pointing out that he is not elite and is just an average QB is not “melting down” Getting mad and throwing a fit because someone said he’s not elite and is just average, that is melting down. Having good protection and open receivers doesn’t prove a QB can’t process. Separation is often created by scheme and timing, and time to throw isn’t the same thing as instant reads. Plenty of elite QBs scramble with clean pockets because they’re chasing explosives. Allen, Mahomes and Jackson all do this. And it’s not because they can’t read defenses. Now I’m not saying Caleb is that level of QB at the moment, but my point is saying QBs scramble cause they can’t process is very lazy. “Do less” usually means take the easy throw and stop forcing hero ball - not that the QB suddenly can’t identify coverages. You’re taking favorable environment stats and treating them as direct proof of poor processing when they aren’t.

@LovelandsBurner @JoeA_NFL He had an elite OL Most time to throw #2 time in pocket (not scrambles) Consistently open targets HC/OC saying "Do less" = find and hit the right first read With so much time, great protection, consistently open targets, why did he need to scramble? He created his own pressures

Where did I claim that he’s an MVP level QB? That’s what I thought. You have been melting down over Caleb and only a moron would question it. All I’ve seen for the last 6 months is a constant stream of Packers fans whining and bitching and moaning about Caleb, who’s been living rent free in your head since he sent you bitches home last season. Keep crying 👍🏾👍🏾👍🏾

@KaminEliahs @BigDFurny47 @LovelandsBurner @JoeA_NFL Yup, and 1-2 against the Packers when Love actually plays more than 1/2 the game. lol. And even that 1 win needed the Packers kicker to miss 3 kicks to have a chance. Good god, I can’t wait to watch you all meltdown when the bears go 8-9 and get swept by the Packers this year

Bad processors usually produce turnover-worthy plays at a much higher rate. If he supposedly can’t read defenses and get the ball out in rhythm, why has he consistently posted low interception numbers and been praised by coaches for his command of protections and pre-snap adjustments? You’re mixing pressure rate with pocket time as if they’re the same thing. A QB can have a long average time to throw because he’s extending plays after the pocket breaks down, which actually increases his pressure numbers. They can also have a longer time to throw because they are hunting explosive plays - something Ben Johnson loves to do. Most time to throw doesn’t automatically mean easy quarterbacking. Many people with a more than elementary knowledge of football know this.

@LovelandsBurner @JoeA_NFL He had #1 most time to throw, to 3 of top 10 targets in average separation. Why was he - with the most time to throw and an elite OL and consistently open targets - also one of the most pressured? Bc he can't read defense and get the ball out in rhythm

Can’t read or process fast enough post snap. Yeah that’s just flat out false and I’m going to repeat myself, I covered a lot of this in what I aside earlier. The throwaways I’ve also already covered. Although I will add that Johnson has criticised our receivers on not getting open enough when Caleb has extended plays. The scramble drill has been a big point of emphasis in Bears practices so far The sacks I’ll address because I didn’t cover this. He took so many sacks because the 24 O line was dogshit. Which was why Darnell Wright was the only surviving starter from that season. This isn’t news. This has been talked about extensively.

@LovelandsBurner @JoeA_NFL Motion & moving components makes it easier not harder. It forces defenses to adjust & expose what coverage they may be in. It works because Caleb cant read or process fast enough post snap. Which is why he took so many sacks in 24 & had do many throw aways in 25
