@zrocoo1 @HogLegNews I care more about accurate translations from the source, but directors like to attempt to usurp it with their own vision because they think they are superior, and time and again they have proven that they are not. It's ok though, this debate won't matter for much longer anyway.

@LuBaLu_Net @HogLegNews They aren’t perfect castings but neither were Harold Perrineau as Mercutio or Liam Neeson as Ra's al Ghul but people has looked past any inaccuracies because the actors did such a good job. There’s always going to be inaccuracies, I care more about the performance of the actors.

Let me be straight with some of you on here, I’m going to be one of this show’s biggest fans. The Harry Potter HBO Show looks incredible from top to bottom and I cannot wait to see all 7 Seasons break all sorts of TV records. Christmas 2026 can’t come soon enough.
Geek Vibes Nation@GeekVibesNation

The official trailer for HBO’s ‘Harry Potter and the Philosopher’s Stone’ series has shattered records, becoming HBO and HBO Max’s most-watched ever — more than doubling previous records with over 277M organic views in 48 hours

@ratziIla @HogLegNews so what? Why does there need to be any black actors at all? If it doesn't match the description then it's just woke garbage and Snape is described as having pale skin, a hooked nose and yellow teeth 📠🤷‍♂️

@djairrick if that true then that means that the Dislikes are even more numerous, so just because it falls short it doesn't mean it doesn't exist, it clearly does by your own admission. For it to be "not accurate" means it must exist albeit in a suboptimal level 📠🤷‍♂️

@zrocoo1 @HogLegNews It's not about impact, it's about accuracy of translation. We can argue whether age or skin color are worse, but one thing is for sure, they are both inaccurate and therefore, bad casting choices. One being worse doesn't make the other one good all the sudden.

@LuBaLu_Net @HogLegNews Making Snape 24 years older is worse than making him black. It totally changes the impact of realizing Harry’s parents were in their late teens when they were fighting Voldemort. That whole moment is lost in the movies. Snape’s skin color has zero impact on the overall story

@zrocoo1 @HogLegNews not really, plenty of book fans pointed out the flaws, and again, a worse casting (black Snape) doesn't make a bad casting (movie Snape) good. I really can't wait for me to just make accurate translations of books into shows using AI, since these directors refuse to.

@LuBaLu_Net @HogLegNews People had no trouble overlooking casting issues in the movies because the actors ended up doing a great job. Why not give the actors in the tv series to do the same.

𝗗𝗔𝗡 𝗕𝗢𝗡𝗚𝗜𝗡𝗢 𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗢𝗦𝗘𝗦 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗣𝗦𝗬𝗢𝗣 𝗧𝗥𝗜𝗖𝗞 𝗖𝗔𝗡𝗗𝗔𝗖𝗘 𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗡𝗦, 𝗝𝗢𝗘 𝗞𝗘𝗡𝗧, 𝗔𝗡𝗗 𝗢𝗧𝗛𝗘𝗥𝗦 𝗨𝗦𝗘 𝗢𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨 Dan Bongino broke down one of the oldest manipulation tricks in media — and named names. Here's the playbook, exactly as he described it. Step one: claim you have hidden knowledge. Something the gatekeepers don't want you to know. Something Trump himself is being kept from. You never actually say what it is. You never name names. You never make a falsifiable claim. You just gesture at a dark space and let the audience lean in. Step two: the Lego trick. You put one piece of information on the table. Then you put a completely unrelated piece of information on the table. You keep talking. You never connect them. But your audience's brain does it for you — because that's what human brains do. We find patterns. We complete puzzles. And here's the critical insight Bongino delivers: 𝘈𝘯𝘺 𝘪𝘥𝘦𝘢 𝘵𝘩𝘢𝘵 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘵𝘩𝘪𝘯𝘬 𝘤𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘧𝘳𝘰𝘮 𝘺𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘰𝘸𝘯 𝘮𝘪𝘯𝘥 𝘺𝘰𝘶 𝘩𝘢𝘷𝘦 𝘯𝘰 𝘢𝘣𝘪𝘭𝘪𝘵𝘺 𝘵𝘰 𝘳𝘦𝘴𝘪𝘴𝘵. That's the whole trick. Make you think the conclusion was your idea. The manipulator never said it. You did. So when someone challenges the claim, you defend it like your own thought — because you believe it is. His example is precise: a local news anchor says a woman is missing, and that neighbors saw her arguing with her boyfriend. Then: 𝘴𝘵𝘢𝘺 𝘵𝘶𝘯𝘦𝘥 𝘧𝘰𝘳 𝘥𝘦𝘵𝘢𝘪𝘭𝘴. Your brain already k!lled the boyfriend. The anchor never said that. But you know what you know. Bongino applies it directly: Joe Kent insinuating Israel was behind Butler, Pennsylvania without ever saying it. Candace Owens gesturing at "hidden knowledge" about Charlie Kirk's death — knowledge she never actually shares, never names a suspect, never makes a claim that can be tested or refuted. Just two Legos on a table and a long pause. His closing point is the sharpest: if Candace actually cared about Charlie Kirk and his family, she would stop trying to destroy the trial that is currently proceeding — a trial with due process, evidence, and constitutional protections. Instead she is running a psyop that benefits no one except her own engagement numbers. This is not a conspiracy theory Bongino is describing. It is the mechanics of how conspiracy theories are manufactured and implanted. Learn to recognize it and you become immune to it. 𝗧𝘄𝗼 𝗟𝗲𝗴𝗼𝘀 𝗼𝗻 𝗮 𝘁𝗮𝗯𝗹𝗲. 𝗬𝗼𝘂 𝗽𝘂𝘁 𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗺 𝘁𝗼𝗴𝗲𝘁𝗵𝗲𝗿. 𝗧𝗵𝗲𝘆 𝗻𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗿 𝗱𝗶𝗱.

@LuBaLu_Net @BTCJFC I would imagine patriotism is earned not deserved because you call yourself the United States and wrap yourself in a flag. My great grandparents would not believe they were in The United States if brought back. And the founders of this country would be appalled.

Just look at how they wielded the power to destroy the country. They have been actively destroying the white population since ww2. The Civil rights acts and laws destroyed the black communities path to fully integrating into American culture. And used the rift to distract us from progress outside of race relations. And to guilt us into being responsible for the rest of the world. I have no patriotism towards a government that brings the barbarians to our home.

@windedronin @BTCJFC the power came from individual liberty, which attracted and bred the best talent, but power always corrupts, even an entire country. Now factions are trying to carve it up and setup their own fiefdoms. The only way to save this country is through unity of purpose by patriots.

Seems like that is working well lol. And again this is my perspective. This is what im willing to vote for, and nothing less. I am a white male. I would not feel this way if I wasn't. The further we stray from the natural order of large majority white population that turned this country into the most powerful country in the world, the further we fall as a country.
