I do not understand what billionaires think the final outcome of all this is. If nobody has a living wage, they cannot buy your products, pay for your services, or rent the properties being owned and hoarded. At that point, does the whole thing not just collapse?

Humans keep gaining more knowledge and experience as we live longer, but because physical strength and cognitive abilities decline, the sweet spot is probably somewhere in our 30s to 40s. If we could overcome ageing, would we just keep getting smarter forever with age?

Britain has a vast welfare system, this isn’t about people being unable to afford cheese. This is about theft becoming normalised. Many steal basic items, and sell them on the streets to buy drugs and alcohol.
