Nearly 33 illegal Bangladeshis who were arrested in Salem district, Tamil Nadu, were put on a train to West Bengal with a police escort and will be handed over to the BSF for deportation to Bangladesh. Over the past few years, there has been a noticeable increase in the number of illegal Bangladeshis and Rohingyas being detected in the southern states of India.
