@CTYJohnsHopkins I’m sure my son would have loved astronomy lessons but you cancelled his 3wk in person summer program (and 50+ other families) <48 hrs before starting. We got a form letter, robo calls and apology for the inconvenience.

FYI my kids signed up to do 3 week summer camps with Johns Hopkins CTY. They cancelled my kids’ 3 week summer camp and told us by e-mail late Friday afternoon before camp on Sunday. On way to airport before we found out. They won’t answer phones.

This was my son's "experience" pick for the summer and now we don't know what we can possibly pivot to. Anyone else have any ideas of how you will pivot?

@Zenith_Legal @CTYJohnsHopkins The only conceivable explanation for this is a last minute covid outbreak. For any other explanation you must have known earlier than 345 on Friday. Which leaves no time to find alternative plans.

@CTYJohnsHopkins @Lucyaylestock We can’t connect. Phones go nowhere. The email was completely unclear about what’s going on. Best option would’ve been to allow kids to come and figure out next week — remote / different classes. You cannot imagine the havoc this causes. It’s mind boggling. Total last minute.

We are approaching 70 days since @POTUS and I were sworn in—along with Roxy, who is 6 years old. She remembered the entire oath. Impressive! I want Roxy and every little girl to dream with ambition—and know that anything is possible.
