Honestly small talk is just the beginning of a conversation. Usually just “hey how’s your day? Did you see…” (usually for the “did you see” it’s something where I know there’s at least some general area of mutual interest and it’s something minor that’s usually just a yes or now that you can use to turn into a conversation.)

I wanna learn how to converse and small talk better but don’t really know where to start. I feel like I need to trust myself to just try and talk to people more. What’s usually going through your mind when creating small talk?
