Traveler Gameplay in Snezhnaya info: Lumine wields the futuristic rifle we saw and the gameplay happened in a boxed-stage gunfights against the Fatui in environments reminiscent of Snezhnaya or Nod-Krai. Her outfit carries a strong sci-fi aesthetic, paired with black thigh-high stockings. She wears a cape similar to Eula’s draped over her back. The gameplay experience seems to be extremely polished. A sliding dash mechanic has been added for Travelers. Previously, double-tapping sprint yielded no additional action, but now the input triggers a slide. Players can also toggle between hip-fire and aimed shooting modes. For hip-fire, a permanent white dot crosshair sits at the center of the screen to help Travelers track their aim. After firing, a cross-shaped marker displays the bullet spread (bullets have significant dispersion), with the camera locked to a third-person perspective positioned high and behind the character’s right shoulder. Upon entering aim-down-sights mode, the camera zooms in slightly and switches to a shoulder-firing viewpoint. Bullet spread tightens noticeably, though minor dispersion still persists. The map is filled with abundant cover. Travelers can crouch behind cover by moving close to it, and tap the fire button to stand up and counterattack from behind barriers. They may also vault over cover to advance forward. Shooting is available at all times, whether sliding, running, or taking cover. Slides are not locked to a single fixed direction; players can freely adjust their trajectory mid-slide, and jumps can interrupt the slide animation at any moment. Every shot fired builds energy for the Traveler’s Elemental Skill, regardless of whether it hits an enemy. Roughly fifteen rounds fully charge one stack of the Elemental Skill, with a base maximum of two stacks available at the start. When the Elemental Skill is activated, a single high-damage Cryo laser blasts forth toward the crosshair’s position. Certain Fatui foes in the arena deploy Electro shields, which can only be shattered using the Elemental Skill. As for enemies, the current roster features nearly all Fatui variants from Nod-Krai, including mech units and Pyro blade-wielding agents. This game mode may become permanent content in the future, with potential player-versus-player combat and leaderboard rankings planned. Four firearm attachments are available, whose official names cannot be recalled, so custom monikers have been assigned for them below: Amplifier Boosts damage with sustained continuous fire. Each consecutive shot increases damage by a fixed percentage, and the third round infuses attacks with Cryo. Stacks up to 50 times; all buffs fade one second after stopping fire. Extended Drum Magazine Expands the default 30-round magazine to 60 rounds, and raises the Elemental Skill stack cap to four. Developers stated that four fully charged skill stacks unleash a combined burst dealing massive damage and trigger an automatic reload, though this feature currently has bugs. Muzzle Mod Reduces bullet spread and gun recoil, making accurate hip-fire shots far easier to land without aiming down sights. Targeting Laser Projects a visible laser beam to show players their point of aim when enemies are at close range (this attachment feels largely underwhelming in practice). Equipping all four attachments unlocks a flowing light trail visual effect on the firearm. A colossal tree looms in the distant skybox. Not a conventional wooden tree like those in Sumeru, but a "luminous spirit tree". I suspect this landmark ties to the Fae. Via ULC & anonymous #GenshinImpact

Snezhnaya Combat introduces fully realized shooter mechanics with a locked third-person, over-the-shoulder camera: - Hip-Fire: Permanent white dot crosshair. High bullet spread, cross-shaped marker shows dispersion. - Aim-Down-Sights: Camera zooms in to a tight shoulder-view, drastically reducing bullet spread. - Future Plans: Rumored to potentially become permanent content with PvP modes and leaderboards.
