@littlepvppyslvt I don't know if you attend this convention but there's a pattern of this specific convention having lapses of judgement with regards to miscommunicating things with attendees. Locals are pretty tired of them doing this

@littlepvppyslvt Nobody is assuming that. It just was not expected because this never happened at this con before, or at most cons anyone has ever attended. The convention has insight into whether or not the con will sell out. Why can't they just tell us that? It would take one tweet

@muttmutilation @RoudyRaccoon I'm not sure if you go to furry cons but hitting the venue cap is very uncommon. But the staff can predict attendance rates. People can be upset that they weren't communicated something that would help them plan. Nobody is calling the police here they're just upset

@LycaonWuff @RoudyRaccoon venue caps always exist? you can’t just overcrowd an event, that’s illegal, and no organization is required to communicate that limit as long as they cut it at whatever the cap is

@goodgirltiaa I’m aware the cap was today. But in my eyes, imagine a button. If you press the button you win $20. There’s nothing stopping you from pressing the button, you know you want to but you just never do. And then it disappears. Whose fault is it that you didn’t win your $20?

I pre-registered like as soon as I was able to. And it baffles me that people don’t do that when they have the rest of their plans cemented. But regardless this is wild and the fact they ARE sold out now is also wild

Did you know about all this prior to 6 years ago? 2018 is when they started taking on a crazy number of commissions, before there was a pattern of not delivering Plus not everyone is chronically online

But HOW did they not know is my question? Honestly, enlighten me and I mean zero negativity towards this..Because there’s been so many new clients of theirs who have put out thousands even with everything being shown that they are an inconsistent maker. There’s been SO much history of the way this person has treated people negatively. Unless they went in entirely blind, I would be shocked if new clients didn’t know the history of FTW
