This is some NEXT LEVEL corruption and we're about to BLOW YOUR MIND. This needs to be reposted EVERYWHERE! For DECADES, a Democrat federal judge reportedly made it illegal for Republicans to be poll watchers. It happened from the 80's and didn't end until 2020!! “Something else people don't know is that start in the mid-1980s, there was a federal district court judge in New Jersey, who entered a consent decree that Republicans could not be poll watchers. So from mid-80’s until 2020, Republicans were not allowed to be poll watchers on these national elections. And what happened was that judge eventually died and the Democrats, the DNC, they had to go get that injunction renewed every 5-8 years, something along those lines. And when that judge died, he was replaced by an Obama judge, and they went back to that judge and they said, we want this consent decree in place making so Republicans cannot be poll watchers and cannot be a part of this process. And he said, what in the heck are you talking about? This is absolutely so unconstitutional. And he refused to renew that consent decree. He refused to renew that injunction. So 2020 was one of the first years that we had professional Republican poll watchers in these elections to see what was going on in Atlanta, in Detroit, in Milwaukee, in, you know, in in Philadelphia. It was the first time we were able to really see what was going on in these polling places. What that tells me is that probably a lot of these shenanigans were been going on for a long, long time, but there were no Republicans there to report on it.” REPOST for exposure! #thinblueline #lawenforcement

A dump truck driver was stopped in Burlington, the guy wouldn’t produce a driver’s license, when they figured out who he was he only had a G2 license & was subject to an ignition interlock device in their vehicle due to an impaired driving charge. Just imagine how many the police don’t catch operating these trucks.

With respect to him, this person is a man. I have no problem with what he wears or what he does in private. But he is a man. And it is not transphobic to say so. It is insulting and inappropriate to the 1.5 million women who suffer with endometriosis for him to have been appointed to speak for them. Today I have written to Endometriosis South Coast to urge a reconsideration of this appointment.

Steph Richards is a trans woman who works for the charity Endometriosis South Coast as their parliamentary engagement officer which is a voluntary role, but in the last week, she has seen a tsunami of hate directed her way. Some women online have called her appointment deeply offensive, but Steph says this is just another excuse for transphobia. Steph talks to @PaulBrandITV and @kategarraway

This is a lie. On April 1 the Carney government increased the excise tax on all alcohol by 2%. For the brewers this is a $14 million increase. Across all beverage alcohol sectors it is a $41 million increase. This is not tax relief.
Mark Carney@MarkJCarney

Good news for your local brewery: we’re extending alcohol excise tax relief for 2 more years. That’ll save Canadian breweries up to $90,000 in taxes this year.

I’ve been thinking this week about Brian Tingley: a Christian counselor who challenged Washington state’s viewpoint-based counseling ban in 2021. At the time, challenging a counseling ban felt like a cultural “third rail”—especially for a blue state counselor with a reputation to uphold. But Brian knew the harm that would come to families if these bans were upheld. So he sued. Tingley lost at the district court, then at the 9th Circuit. When @ADFLegal appealed to the Supreme Court, three justices favored taking Brian’s case—just one vote shy of a cert grant. Justices Thomas and Alito wrote dissents from the cert denial, noting the importance of the issue—and the fact that it wasn’t going away. They were right. Two years later, we appealed a near-identical case from Colorado: Chiles v. Salazar. This time, the Supreme Court took the case. And just this week, the Court referenced Tingley in its Chiles opinion, ruling 8-1 that Colorado’s counseling ban was an “egregious assault” on First Amendment principles. “The Constitution does not protect the right of some to speak freely; it protects the right of all.” Sometimes—oftentimes—you have to lose before you can win. And no one can predict when the win will come. It’s a matter of simply stepping out in boldness and faith to do what’s right, come what may. I’m deeply grateful to every ADF client who makes that choice—whether they walk the path of Brian Tingley or Kaley Chiles. Win or lose, they stand up. They set their comfort aside. They challenge injustice. It’s people like this who will keep America free.

Remember when Eby called a Northern BC pipeline "fictional?" Turns out that a full month before the BC-Alberta northern pipeline MOU, the Eby govt was already sending memos to "mount the counter case" and begin "mobilizing opponents" to the fictional, non-existent project.

I’m considering covering the April 5 Khalistan protests outside Hindu places of worship. While SFJ representatives have generally provided a safe environment for my public-interest journalism, violence and threats of violence from certain extremists at their events remain an ongoing concern. Safe coverage would require additional security measures, which come at a cost. My reporting offers something super rare: high-quality on-the-ground documentation, a fair opportunity for all sides to be heard, and a lasting public record that can inform future reporting and documentaries. Over the last two years, across Canada, the United States, the United Kingdom, and New Zealand, and other undisclosed parts of the world, I have built a reputation based on integrity that allows people to express their unfettered opinions and thoughts. I’m able to do this because I have absolute editorial independence, which I built through hard work and dedication. To make this coverage possible, a minimum of $5,000 would need to be raised to cover security, travel, and production related costs. While I welcome public support, contributions DO NOT influence my editorial.

"“Everyone wants to say this at the Petroleum Club, but no one wants to say it in public,” confides Bryan Gould, Shell Canada M&A veteran and now executive chair and founder of Aspenleaf Energy, a private Canadian light oil and gas producer. The only politically viable path forward on energy, he tells me — however unpalatable for Prime Minister Mark Carney, given the worldview in his book Values — is to stop the games: strip away the barriers and let the free market work." nationalpost.com/news/saving-ca…

There are many thousands of girls in America who have directly experienced being plunged into a bizarre, Orwellian unreality, threatened by state authorities with adverse consequences for asserting their right to fair competition on behalf of a delusional social movement eager to sacrifice their interests to a new state-sanctioned Moloch
Jackson Thompson@JackThompsonFOX

NCAA softball player Kendall Kotzmacher had to watch her senior high school season in Minnesota end at the hands of a dominant transgender pitcher in last year's state playoffs. Now the DOJ has sued Minnesota for not protecting girls' sports, and Kendall has mixed feelings as she files her taxes for the first time, knowing some of her NIL money will be indirectly funding that legal battle.
