@M9669G @j92 No I agree with that part and I do hope MLB takes a look at the “impeding” the runner part. What I am saying is a walk is a live ball and by the rule Pete touched 2nd, then came off the bag which means he can/could be tagged out.

@M9669G it’s a dumb rule, but it’s because he came off the base on the slide and was tagged. because he technically came off the bag, he was essentially stealing third, and was tagged out on the next play. again, i agree, dumb rule, but that would appear to be the official rule/explain.
