Don’t even think about changing the badge @RCouhig I’ve met lots of people from other countries who say ‘Redding’ not ‘reading’ just by looking at the badge. We would lose our whole identity by changing it #readingfc

@MUS57A @RCouhig Not true , the New Orleans Saints have a Fleur de Lis . Many others are also represented by more traditional badges . My point was simply as an American (and a somewhat “involved “ newish fan of Reading ) changing the badge had never crossed my mind .

@MACquotes @MUS57A @RCouhig Typically a lot of US logos or “franchises” have more modern, simple and sleek logos, a lot of American ones lack detail and nods to history or local culture for the sake of looking aesthetic, so to answer, it would fit the American “style” thus fitting in with others
