Newspapers in the USA have, or used to have whole comics sections - full colour on Sundays - to encourage people to buy their paper. Parents read them, children read them, it was the best multi-generational part of the newspaper.
(Might be a way to boost UK newspaper sales?)

@guardian Maybe you should have a daily comics section in the newspaper featuring the wealth of cartoonists from the UK that we have - My Dad literally would hand me the comics at breakfast as he was about to set off to work each morning. Invest in helping fix the problem. FREE COMICS.

If your comics don’t end up on people’s haul photos after a con, it’s doesn’t mean anything. Your customers still bought them and are probably reading them instead of taking a picture :D
