@Headteacherchat @SwailesRuth Why would anyone would be surprised about this. The Govt. use education as a toy to tinker with as they see fit. Ofsted is used as their main tool to surpress the excellence in teaching. Can’t have teachers get all the praise, the praise should go to Govt. and of course its tool!

@MamaBugg17 @TolentinoTeach Society as a whole,including parents, teachers and in fact governments are largely responsible for this. Years ago we started telling students they can be what they want, do what they want, we never let them fail. Thats not real world.

EXCLUSIVE: James Evans, a Senedd Member of Parliament for Brecon and Radnorshire, has tonight spoken to Nigel Farage about joining Reform UK and becoming their second member of the Welsh Parliament. Mr. Evans was suspended by the Conservative Party today over concerns that he was planning to defect to Reform UK. I can reveal that Mr. Evans and Nigel Farage, Reform UK leader, have spoken tonight, with Farage stating that he would be happy to welcome him into the party ahead of the May 7 elections, during which the Senedd is also up for election. The announcement of Mr. Evans joining Reform UK is expected soon, with sources close to him indicating that he has been planning the move since November of last year.

@Strickomaster @DoubtingDeacon Having complained to a primary school during the last 12 months, it took 9 months to resolve. I can say that the school did not follow their own policy for stage 3 and 4, if they had, it would have been sorted out in 3 weeks. But the school (MAT/Chair really) just didn’t .

@Strickomaster @ian4downton A lot of complaints come from the schools themselves not following their own policies. Surely the policies are there for clarity, if schools don’t follow them, then parents have a right to hold a school to the policies they put in place? Otherwise what’s the point of the policy?
