@Wvisioncreation @mrmagna1 Why the edited one is blurry ? The original ERaw is sharper

@WorkaholicDavid With QHD+ AND 120Hz.. how much your battery lasting please?
English

@theonecid I don't want thin device with low battery.
Battery and camera hardware are more important than thickness.

@Wvisioncreation Isn't this a glitch Samsung should fix?? Or is it normal to switch to 12MP for 10x?? @SamsungMobile @SamsungMobileUS

So on the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra:
In 12MP mode, there’s literally no difference between 9.9× and 10×.
The only change appears in 24MP mode:
• 5× → 9.9× = full 24MP resolution
• 10× → 100× = switches to 12MP + long-range AI enhancement
So basically, 24MP mode 5×–9.9× behaves like a lossless zoom range. 📸👌

Galaxy S26 Ultra | 9.9× vs 10× Is there really any big difference? 🤔 One thing I noticed: Up to 9.9× you still get the full 24MP output. Switch to 10× and even in 24MP mode… the output drops to 12MP. Interesting little detail.

@sondesix It's the AI post processing...you need to turn it off

Something that I noticed when testing the camera of the Galaxy S26 Ultra is how hazy and flat many of the photos are.
This is even more noticeable when there are some bright light sources in the surrounding area.
All of the camera lenses were squeaky clean, by the way.
This does not happen with my vivo, OPPO, Xiaomi, realme, Honor, Huawei, or iPhone.

The side-by-side between the S25 Edge and the new S26 Ultra design-wise is uncanny, but the feel in-hand tells a different story.
It makes you wonder: why did Samsung ditch titanium for aluminum?
• Thermals: Still lagging behind the S25 Ultra.
• Battery: Zero increase in capacity.
If you're going to trade off premium materials, you’d expect a boost in performance or longevity. Instead, we’re getting "similar looks" with fewer perks.

@fahim_al_mahmud @SamsungMobileUS @Samsung @SamsungCanada @SamsungUK @samsungbusiness @Lightroom @Qualcomm_EU @Qualcomm @Snapdragon The quality of 1st pic purple flower is in NO WAY close to the 5x on S25 Ultra last year. Very sad they reduced the MFD.

Day 2 with the S26 Ultra 💥
* Auto 10x (Unedited)
* Auto 5x (Unedited)
* Expert RAW 5x (Color corrected)
* Expert RAW 5x with Virtual Aperture f/5.6 (Color corrected)
All pictures were captured after the update. Lightroom still doesn't have S26 Ultra specific lens profile, so I've used the S25 Ultra profile for the color correction of pics 3 and 4.
I've noticed a bug, some Expert RAW images look absolutely horrible with over-sharpening and dynamic range misrepresentation in the default gallery app, but the moment you import the photo in a proper editing tool like Lightroom, it becomes normal again. This issue existed before the launch of S25 Ultra but it was fixed last year and Samsung tuned the gallery app to show RAW files with proper calibration. They just need to bring that tuning back. But hey, at least now you know your pics won't be the problem, only the preview!
Lastly, while the minimum focusing distance sucks, you can switch to the 10x zoom to make up for it a little bit (Pic 1).

@UniverseIce So flat on Samsung unfortunately. Where are the shadows on her cheek and neck on S26U? Brightening everything at once is NOT good photography. @SamsungMobile @SamsungMobileUS

I think the Samsung Galaxy S26 Ultra is closer to the colors captured by Sony's professional cameras than the iPhone 17 Pro, what do you think?

@theonecid No. S24U >>>>.
With thickness reduction it is crazy how wobbly it is 😑 no one wanted thinner phone. We just need better camera and bigger battery
