🍎 Meet Olivia Adams, 2025–2026 Teacher of the Year at South Salem Elementary School! 🍎 Ms. Adams has been teaching with Newton County Schools for 15 years, with the past seven at @ , where she teaches first grade. Inspired by her elementary gifted teacher—who built meaningful relationships and inspired her love of learning—Ms. Adams chose to dedicate her career to giving that same care and inspiration to her own students. Her favorite part of teaching is watching a child’s self-confidence grow as they begin to experience success. Her hope is that every student leaves her classroom knowing they were loved and that she gave her very best because they are deserving of it. ❤️ Fun fact: Ms. Adams is a vocalist who routinely performs the national anthem for several major sports teams and venues across Georgia! When she’s not in the classroom, she enjoys reading and singing as often as possible. Let’s celebrate Ms. Adams as she represents South Salem in the district Teacher of the Year program!
