We are incredibly proud to celebrate the achievement of our MBRU graduate, Dr. Ali Alsarhan, on securing a highly competitive Pediatric Gastroenterology Fellowship at The Hospital for Sick Children (SickKids), ranked the #1 Best Specialized Pediatric Hospital in the world. A graduate of MBRU’s Graduate Medical Education, where he completed his residency and fellowship, Dr. Ali now embarks on an exciting new chapter. We wish him every success ahead.

A story of dreams and the power of care in our beloved city, Dubai. On World Kidney Day, we spotlight the journey of James, a creative designer at Dubai Health and the artist behind the “Patient First” visual identity, who was diagnosed with advanced kidney failure and underwent a kidney transplant at Dubai Hospital that restored his health and gave him a renewed chance at life. Today, the visual identity he designed carries an even deeper meaning. Because for James, “Patient First” isn’t just a design… it’s his story. Each of us has an inspiring story in Dubai… what is your story?

قصة أمل من دانة الدنيا، دبي. في اليوم العالمي للكلى، نسلّط الضوء على رحلة جيمس، المصمّم الإبداعي في «دبي الصحية» وصاحب تصميم الهوية البصرية «المريض أولاً»، الذي تم تشخيصه بالفشل الكلوي في مراحل متقدمة، وخضع لعملية زراعة كلى في مستشفى دبي أعادت إليه عافيته ومنحته فرصة جديدة للحياة. وخلال رحلته العلاجية، لمس جيمس بنفسه ما يعنيه أن يكون “المريض أولاً”، من خلال نموذج الرعاية الصحية المتكاملة الذي تقوم عليه منظومة «دبي الصحية»، لتترك هذه التجربة أثراً ملموساً في حياته. لكل منا قصة ملهمة في دبي... فما قصتك؟
