This week in ENL we learned all about Veteran’s Day, why it’s important and how we can show our appreciation. We wrote letters thanking them for their service! 🇺🇸💙

Last week, we worked on a design and draw activity where students designed a Halloween themed creature, then wrote a paragraph describing their character. Later, we guessed who made each creature by reading our descriptive writing in class. It was so much fun! 🎃🕸️👻

Today was so special! My BOCES family showered Baby Brenner with so much love 👶🏼💙 They even surprised me with an appearance from @WBrennerWMS!

Finally some snow! ❄️ We had a snowy themed ENL class today. Students learned all about finding the main idea and supporting details of a story. We had fun playing our “What’s the Main Idea?” matching game!☃️

Congratulations to my student of the month Ashly! Ashly is a dedicated student who always tries her best in our sessions together. I’m so proud of you!💕🎉

With February quickly approaching, we’re starting to talk all about self love in ENL 💕 Students worked on our new bulletin board this week with a writing assignment titled “The Best Part of Me”. We chose a part of ourselves that we love and wrote all about it. #selflove

Fun Friday today in ENL 🎉 We had a competition this morning between all my students, who could come up with the most amount of summer words?! The winner was Michael from ITMS!☀️ So much fun!

Today my students wrote letters to their favorite teachers for Teacher Appreciation Week. They had so much fun delivering the letters. It put a smile on everyone’s face. ✏️📓🥰
