@ProfMakris we already know! 7 days after Thanksgiving in California, over 24 000 new #COVID19 cases today :-( we doubled the disaster from July this year. I hope EU (and UK) authorities learn from our mistakes!

I hope the UK authorities are looking closely at the US #COVID19 date to see what happened after thanksgiving. I expect we will known in a couple of weeks.

Although the numbers of #COVID19 patients in the UK on ventilators (1261) and in hospital (14917) are going down, new cases (16298) and those who died in 24 hours (504) are remaining high. Was it wise to have decided already to relax social distancing restriction over Christmas?

Interesting data, however interpretation may be limited by small number of reported cases and confounding selection bias.
