April 4, 1968 — Today marks 57 years since the assassination of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. at the Lorraine Motel in Memphis. We pause to honor his legacy, reflect on his courage, and recommit ourselves to advancing justice, equality, and peace. #LansingMLK2025

On this day in 1965, Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. spoke to more than 4,000 people in the MSU Auditorium.
