That Chelsea offside goal would be onside if Arsène Wenger got his way...but the forward will want to be goal side of the last player...but that will make the defender try to stop that! So if we're going to see these high lines... it'll make defenders think twice and drop back

What a dumb ass rule change...it doesn't stop the lines and determining what is a mill to an inch. The attacker will always have the advantage when running towards the goal as a defender will more likely be facing away or side on!
Explaining the rule will be more difficult too

🚨 𝗕𝗥𝗘𝗔𝗞𝗜𝗡𝗚: Arsene's Wenger new offside rule has been APPROVED and will be used in the Canadian Premier League! A player will ONLY be offside if he has FULLY passed the last defender, so it won't be decided based on a body part anymore. If succesful, the offside rule could change across the entire world from the 2027/28 season on.
