Today was a very good day! Dodson teachers paraded through our neighborhoods hugging, hi-giving and celebrating the start to a sensational school year with our students & families. We can’t wait to see you again Friday night, August 4th from 5:00-6:00 for our Back-to-School Bash!

3rd through 5th Grade Field Day tomorrow, May 19th. Wear tennis shoes, cool clothing and a hat. All student get a free Kona Ice!

Dodson's Field Day is this week! K - 2nd grades is Thursday, May 18th and 3rd - 5th is Friday, May 19th. Your child needs to wear tennis shoes, cool clothing, and a hat. Sunscreen should be applied at home that morning. Kona Ice will be provided for all students!

3rd Grade participated in the Cheek wood Grows program at Cheekwood Botanical Gardens. Earlier, we planted vegetables in their garden, and we had a family field trip to harvest some of them. Special thanks Cheryl Thompson, Katie Fox, & Erin Evans

Two great community events this Saturday at the Family Life Center in Hermitage. Free Market and Easter Egg Hunt with bounce houses, DJ, petting farm, photo booth, cake walk and more. 4004 Lebanon Pike from 11:00-2:00

This Saturday, April 4th, is the 13th Annual Kids and Kites Day at the Bicentennial Mall from 10:00-2:00. This event helps fight against childhood obesity and diabetes.

Why not end the week with an awesome GLOW PARTY!!!???!!! These students had perfect attendance for the entire nine weeks. Way to go!

Several of our students competed in the Science Olympiad this past weekend. Our different teams placed 2nd in the Code Busters competition, 3rd in the Straw Tower competition, 3rd in Grasp a Graph competition, & 2nd in the Categories competition. We are so proud of them!
