New month, new display and new puzzle! Happy February!

Today in the library we have an exhibit to help us pause and remember the events surrounding 9/11. Students & staff will have the opportunity to come through and reflect on this important day in our history. Thanks to @melissacorey for the idea & @Sept11Memorial for the resources

January 29th was National Puzzle Day! The Puzzle Club challenged the teachers to beat their times on putting together a 100 piece puzzle. Who do you think won?

Happy Year of the Snake! We are creating our snake with slips of paper with our Lunar New Year Wishes.

Added some books to tie into our winter display! There might be more flurries showing up other places in the library! ❄️

New month, new window display. Inspired by Snowflake Bentley who discovered the shape of individual snowflakes and that no two are exactly alike! Snowflakes were made by @MPJHEagles students from discarded books from the library.

We had a Grinch Day in the library with Ms Paredes and her classes. We listened to “How the Grinch Stole Christmas” book, made a Grinch Snack Mix by following directions, and then watched the cartoon to compare it to the book.

It’s beginning to look a little festive in the library!!

@Scholastic Book Fair is ready in the Library for previews on Monday, and sales plus FAMILY FUN NIGHT on Tuesday!

A few students are reading Out of my Mind with me this month ahead of the movie on Disney+ and we are all loving it!

And finished faster than any of the puzzlers thought possible is a repeat favorite from last year!

Our October puzzle was NIGHTMARE BEFORE CHRISTMAS. This was a difficult 700 piece puzzle loaned to us from Ms. Chambliss!
