#MSUM student, Eddie Kramer, is interning at Blue Ridge Builders, a veteran owned contracting company. Field internships like Eddie's give students a deeper understanding of construction materials and methods, and also strengthen practical skills. #constructioninternship

Trevor is enjoying his internship experience at Design Build Solutions, working on numerous projects throughout MN, IA, and WI. What Trevor enjoys most about his internship are the people. He says, "Everyone is supper friendly and is very helpful for any questions I may have."

#MSUM CM Student, Mike Bedard, is working for Plainview Design & Build, Bismarck, ND. Over this summer he has been working on a house for one of their project managers, performing multiple tasks. His "favorite part of the internship has been the continuation of this project."

#MSUM CM program requires every student to fulfill an internship prior to graduation. CM student, Connor Twidwell, is interning at Comstock Construction and actively engaging in tasks and projects giving him real-life experiences prior to graduation. #constructioninternship

Spencer has his #constructioninternship at Olaf Anderson Construction, a company that has been building in the tri-state area for over 100 years! Spencer is working at the Bell Bank tower, a notable project in downtown Fargo. Watch his video to learn a little more. #MSUM

Abdulmalik is interning at Industrial Contracting Services, Fargo, ND. His favorite part of his internship is "getting to learn and see how it all comes together and being able to incorporate and build on what I have learned in the classroom." #constructioninternship #MSUM

Our students work in all sectors of construction including commercial, industrial, residential, highway, and more! This summer CM student, Trista Kees, is a field engineer intern with Mortenson on a wind turbine project. She is getting a blend of office and field experiences.

Andi Williams is interning with SEH on a roadway project. Her summer has been busy learning new design techniques and construction capabilities, learning from experienced professionals, and observing construction to verify compliance with plans and specifications. #MSUM

Ryan is interning at DL Jones Construction at the MinnDak Farmers Coop in Wahpeton, ND. Ryan enjoys working at DL Jones because it "feels like family." He also gets to work with two little dogs at the office every day! #MSUM #constructioninternship

Yesterday our Estimating class got a tour of Weld Hall from #MSUM Executive Director of Facilities Management, Brenda Norris. Weld Hall will get a complete renovation over the next year. It's always great having a construction project on campus for our students to learn from!
