Nice start to the first week of camp. Good workouts and a large turnout! Go Hawks!

Cross-Country Summer Camp begins on Monday, June 24! Looking forward to getting it started at 7:30 AM! Go Hawks!

In the last race on the track, we get the only Sectional winner for Maine South of the meet! Our 4 x 400 relay of Josie Hennes, Sarah Mendoza, Lauren Marogil, and Sofia Arcuri had the winning time of 4:04.38!

Freshman Sarah Mendoza gets second place in the 400 m Dash with a time 1:00.86!

We had 2 qualified win the 800 m Run. Junior Sofia Arcuri qualified from the slowest heat in a school record time of 2:16.63! Freshman Tessie Bradley qualified with a time of 2:20.29!

The 4 x 800 m Relay finished in 2nd place with a time of 9:39.00! The Hawks in this relay were: Olivia DeLuca, Ally Seurynck, Lauren Marogil, and Tessie Bradley!

We had Several State Qualifiers and other outstanding performances in this Meet!

Congrats to the Girls as they finished in 5th as a team at the Hoffman Estates Sectional Track & Field Meet!

Two relays finished at or near state qualifying times: 3200 relay (DeLuca, Seurynck, Bradley, & Arcuri) in 9:40! 1600 relay (Hennes, Mendoza, Seurynck, & Marogil) in 4:06!

Second and Third place finishes at New Trier: Reese LaBorne in the HJ (5-2), Lucia Fuentes in the 3200 (12:08), Sofia Arcuri & Olivia DeLuca in the 1600 (5:17 & 5:27), Ally Seurynck in the 800 m (2:23). Congrats!

Our sole winner of an event at New Trier was Freshman Sarah Mendoza who won the 400 m Dash is a season’s best time of 1:00.26! Congrats!

Great job at New Trier yesterday! Many quality performances as both the JV and Varsity finished in 4th place!

Congrats to our Freshmen Squad who won the 12 team CSL Championship Meet on Wednesday!

Congrats to Junior Sofia Arcuri who finished 5th at the Illinois Prep Top Times Meet in the 3200 m today. She ran a school record time of 10:57.98! Great race Sofia!

Congrats to Sofia Arcuri & Olivia DeLuca who ran in the fast heat of the Batavia Distance Madness last night. Sofia received a medal for finishing in 3rd with a time of 5:06. Olivia’s time was 5:16. Great job girls!

Reese LaBorne sets a new school record in the High Jump last night at Maine East!! 1.62 m (5-3.75). Congrats!!

Congrats to Reese LaBorne who wins the high jump at Lane Tech! She jumps 5-1 today!
