Bears in a cave was so much fun! Partners took turns putting some bears in and out of the cave and the other partner guessed how many bears were in the cave! 🐻 @PoplarTreeES

This week we finished our “s blend” word study unit. To celebrate, we created “spooky spider s blends!” We had so much fun🕷️🕸️

After reading the book called Swimmy, we collaborated with partners to make a setting for Swimmy. Their settings turned out so beautiful! 🐠 @PoplarTreeES

It was a successful open house and I am ready for another great year with a new group of 1st graders! It was so amazing getting to meet my new students and families! Here’s to year 11 in FCPS and year 14 overall in teaching! @PoplarTreeES
