شكراً للرئيس نبيه بري لأنّه أوّل من اجتمع مع سهيوني - إسرائيلي (يحمل الجنسية ويعمل في الإدارة الأميركية). والمفاوضات المباشرة مع إسرائيل ستتمّ بعد أن حصل تنسيق بين عون - بري - سلام على هكذا خطوة.

Journalists and diplomats have spent the week declaring that the US-Iran ceasefire should be extended to Lebanon. They never quite explain why. Of course, the idea is that Hezbollah is a force controlled by Iran, but they can't make that idea explicit. There are a couple of reasons: 1. They'd have to admit that Iranian forces have been attacking Israel continuously since Oct 8. Israel's subsequent actions directly against Iran would be textbook self-defense. 2. They've spent decades saying that Hezbollah is an independent Lebanese organization, to appease Iran and avoid having to treat Hezbollah as a terrorist group.

@GermanosPeter Israel going with this to the end as their casualties is extremely low and that's a very good thing for both countries there is open window for peace , the ball in Israel hand as they control the situation on the ground we just need to play along calmly .
