I have started a new role as an Obermann International Fellow (OIF) and a visiting Professor/Research Scholar at the University of Iowa's Obermann Center for Advanced Studies in Iowa City, USA

Students at MUA joined the Red Bull innovation session on 5 March 2026 at the South C Campus; theme “It Takes One Idea to Make an Impact.” The event, organized by Dr. Wambugu brought together young innovators to explore tech, sustainability, and digital solutions. #Innovation

Joseph Gathuka is building an AI + GIS system to fight corruption in Kenya’s public projects. It scans govt. sites, analyzes satellite images, and flags inconsistencies giving citizens real-time transparency. He’ll present at the UN Anti-Corruption Convention in Doha this Dec.
