International crude prices have gone through the roof in the last 1 month from around 70 dollars/barrel to around 122 dollars/barrel. Consequently, petrol and diesel prices for consumers have gone up all over the world. Prices have increased by around 30%-50% in South East Asian countries, 30% in North American countries, 20% in Europe and 50% in African countries.
The Modi Government had two choices- either increase prices drastically for citizens of Bharat as all other nations have done or bear the brunt on its finances so that Indian citizen is insulated from international volatility.
Hon’ble Prime Minister @narendramodi Ji, in keeping with his Government’s commitment of last 4 years since the conflict in Russia-Ukraine started, decided to take a hit on its own finances again to safeguard the Indian citizen.
Government has taken a huge hit on it taxation revenues to ensure very high losses of oil companies (approximately 24 Rs/litre for petrol and 30 Rs/litre for diesel) at this time of sky high international prices are reduced. At the same time, export tax has been levied as international prices of petrol and diesel have skyrocketed and any refinery exporting to foreign nations will have to pay export tax. My gratitude to Hon’ble PM Narendra Modi Ji and Hon’ble FM @nsitharaman Ji for this very timely, bold and visionary decision!
@BjpSlayer@Himansh87292863@HardeepSPuri On the contrary did you ever question your state govt ruled by Congress and opp why petrol diesel prices are 8 - 10 rs higher than national average price?why in this time himachal Congress govt increased price by 5 rs more?said na feel yourself blessed that in centre it's nda..
@BjpSlayer@Himansh87292863@HardeepSPuri That's good that's why payout didn't call for any hikes in fuel since last 4 years..ever heard fuel prices in india static for 4 years..stop cribbing and try finding faults..feel yourself blessed this govt is here..
@Himansh87292863@HardeepSPuri Upa govt gave oil bonds worth 1.48 lac cr which cdnt be paid before 2020 even interest also so by default immediate price increase wasnt there..who would have paid that money complied with interest of 3 lac cr when it was time to repay and from where has the fuel price kept at 80
@HardeepSPuri We had been buying expensive fuel even when crude was cheaper, government should be thankful to consumers overcharged since two decades, UPA Government was giving cheaper even at 150 dollars per barrel a price, this is a democracy and not a fiefdom of chosen leaders
@Himansh87292863@HardeepSPuri Pay out of 3 lac cr to Iran for oil bond taken by upa govt had been paid by this govt..where from this money would have come or you wanted us to pay up in extreme case suddenly taking oil price to nearly 150 to 180 rs of today's..have india ever witnessed ever no fuel hike 4 year
@sardesairajdeep Why didn't congress upa party didn't payoff oil bond single penny which bjp govt had to pay up of 3 lac cr from loan of 1.48 lac cr..you mean more benefits should have given and oil bond loan should have complied to pay up snatching all benefits when time to pay up?we know all..
BIG: Government cuts excise duty by Rs 10 on petrol and diesel amid West Asia war. GOOD BUT ..
Qs 1) will the cut only be for a month till elections are over or will it sustain?
Q2) did it require a war and a supply crisis for excise duties to be cut?
q3) why weren’t benefits ever passed onto consumer when global oil prices were low?
Q4) will states now also pass on the benefit to consumers with duty cuts?
Q5) are oil company fuel prices driven by market realities or state intervention and yes, ELECTION CALENDARS?
@sabeer Why your narratives not getting accepted by patrons..simply admit your loose knots, propoganda which you propagate simply getting rubbed because without such huge complimenting from patrons movie can't make 1100 cr worldwide box office in 8 days & 2nd best opening worldwide 2026..
Dhurandhar isn’t cinema, it’s conditioning - manufacturing false pride by selling “we defeated the enemy” narratives, while real struggles go unanswered: how to feed, educate, clothe, and protect families. Packaging hate as a cure for people’s problems is not just misleading - it’s deeply disturbing.
@KaaliSRKFan Without any photos movie collected 800 plus cr box office only in india..now share the comparative figures of your mentioned hit movies figures india box office 8 days?
When Pathaan and Jawan released, we saw videos of housefull theatres, people standing in queues to buy tickets, people talking about revival of Bollywood because of #ShahRukhKhan
For #Dhurandhar2 i am yet to see any video like this. Only unemployed blue tick holders are talking about the film. How is it possible?
@TimesNow@JhaSanjay@navikakumar Navika..do you want us to stop watching your shows?if not stop calling the incorrigible sanjay jha in panel..please take it seriously..
1st Time Since War, Trump Dials Modi
This is an illegal, unauthorized war triggered by Netanyahu, supported by Trump, and India has aligned with it. India is on the wrong side: @JhaSanjay tells @navikakumar
The US, Israel, and Iran all believe that India can play a role in ending the war quickly...- @pradip103
Kannadigas have fallen in love with Dhurandhar 2. Among all the South Indian states, Karnataka has recorded the highest collection, with the film earning ₹54.14 crore in just four days.
Movie Review:- #Dhurandhar2
Rating:- 2.5⭐
#Dhurandhar2 feels like a letdown. Feels like Aditya Dhar rushed through the plot, focusing more on action sequences than building drama.
The climax fight's & The MLA house action block only highlight, but wasn't enough to save the movie for me. First part was 🔥, can't say the same about the sequel.
Ranveer Singh recreated the Baluchistan sequence from the first part, but it lacked the impact Akshay Khanna's version had 😕... Akshay khanna's aura missing.
#Dhurandhar >>> #DhurandharTheRevenge
@smriti_kannan Itni wisdom aati kahan se hain..ek kaam karo nah aap..go to any cinema where admits coming out after watching or going to watch and say the same in front of them..i am sure you will get your best answer there..
@kaushikrj6 Correct yourself..it will be highest grosser for any indian cinema that too without china, gulf nations release which means mostly indian public nothing less than 20 cr unique individuals will watch the movie in cinemas..inspiration for others is endorsed by big time movie makers.
It's laughable how Dhurandhar fans think Aditya Dhar is some genius who has made his name in the international cinema circuit with Dhurandhar and its sequel. Shows how little they know about cinema.
Nobody can deny this fact that Dhurandhar 2 will be the highest grosser film in Hindi cinema. But that doesn't mean Aditya Dhar will be someone who will inspire filmmakers across countries.
Martin Scorcese, Christopher Nolan, Wes Anderson have all admitted to be influenced by Satyajit Ray's cinema. A chase scene in Anurag Kashyap's Black Friday inspired Danny Boyle to include a similar chase sequence in Slumdog Millionaire. This is what influence means when your work inspires filmmakers across countries.
To even imagine that Aditya Dhar's work would even enter these circuits is laughable. No matter how much crores you earn.
